Hillsborough...Cheshire...Kent...eastern Newport...Bristol...
Providence and Washington counties...
At 235 PM EST...Doppler radar continue to indicate bands of rain 
falling across most of southern New England. In western 
Massachusetts and northern Connecticut...additional amounts should 
be on the light side. Heavier rain was headed for Cape Cod and the 
islands but interior southeast Massachusetts could still see another 
0.5 to 1.0 inches in a few locations. As a result...we are 
continuing the Flood Advisory for the potential for minor flooding 
of low lying and poor drainage areas.
In the lower Connecticut River valley...most small streams have 
crested but some were still near bankfull levels and will need to be 
monitored closely. The stage on the South Branch of the Park River 
in Hartford has recently begun to decline.  
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Flood Advisory is issued for minor Urban and Small Stream flooding.
Do not drive through flooded roads.
